Depart Arusha with your private guide and travel to Tarangire National Park, known for elephants, baobabs, river valleys, and seasonal wildlife concentrations. Enjoy an afternoon game drive across woodland and open plains, watching for elephants, giraffes, buffalo, antelope, lions, and rich birdlife before settling into your lodge or camp.
After breakfast, journey toward Serengeti National Park, passing highland scenery and the greater Ngorongoro region en route. Arrive in the Serengeti and begin exploring its immense plains, where wildlife movement, predator activity, and golden light define the experience. Settle into camp surrounded by one of Africa’s most iconic wilderness landscapes.
Spend the day exploring the Serengeti’s plains, riverine areas, and wildlife-rich territories. Game drives may reveal lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and abundant birdlife. Depending on the season and camp location, the day can be shaped around migration movement, big cats, photography, and quiet wilderness moments.
Enjoy a final Serengeti game drive as you travel toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The landscape gradually shifts from open plains to volcanic highlands, creating a beautiful change in atmosphere. Arrive near the crater rim or surrounding lodge area and settle in for the evening before the next morning’s crater descent.
Descend early into Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive across one of Africa’s most concentrated wildlife landscapes. Search for lions, elephants, buffalo, hyenas, flamingos, hippos, and, with luck, black rhinos. After the crater experience, return to Arusha for airport drop-off, hotel transfer, or onward travel arrangements.
For a smoother luxury version, guests can fly between Arusha and the Serengeti, reducing long road transfers and creating more time in camp. Higher-end lodges, private vehicles, hot-air ballooning, photographic guiding, and a longer Serengeti stay can also be added for a more refined safari rhythm.
